I just wanted to let Street and Strip Performance know about how I feel about their business. I called earlier this week and asked about getting some braided fuel line and nitrous lines made up. I was told yes we do that, no problem. I asked if they was open on Sat. I was told yes, between 11am-4pm, come on down and we will take care of you. I show up today (Saturday), at 11am exactly. Doors are locked and know one it to be around. There were 3 other people waiting, they eventually left and at least 4 other cars pulled up and left because no one was there. That was a total of 8 potential customers lost because no one was there. I had several hundred dollars of lines to be made up, but Street and Strip will not be getting my business. This is the second time I have had bad dealing with this store. Now I dont know if a emergency or something came up, but at least a sign could have been posted on the door stating they would not open. I drove over a hour to get there since I was told they would be open. Sorry for the long post but driving that far for nothing really bugs me. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Darren, I am sorry I was not here today when you came. I am basically a one man band as far as the shop goes so if I am running late or running an errand unfortunately that means that the shop does not get opened on time. I have geared my business hours to be more convenient to guys with regular jobs, as most people do not have the ability to go play race cars in the mornings or during regular work hours where they are working. Rather than have the traditional "speed shop" hours of 9am to 5pm,I stay late so people can come on there way home from work instead of trying to figure out how to sneak out of work to come get their parts. All of my customers know that I always answer my phone at any hour regardless of how late and will fix "any" emergency for them within my power to the best of my abilities. Again I apologize for the inconvenience but to perhaps this will give you better understanding of my "lax" opening hours. Sincerely Drew Tarr

I know this is not any of my buisness, but drew i don't think he is saying anything about your lax buisness hours, its just the times you said you would be open and wasn't i think i would have been upset as well. I have bought several things from you as well before and i like how you are open later myself.
p.s. darren don't do to much to that car or i will never have a chance to race with you ;D. Hope everything is going well with you and i am working everynight just about on my car. Do u know where any cars are? Lee is still looking he is wanting something pretty bad but nothing that is junk. Send me an email sometime.
Later

I understand being a little late, as everbody runs late sometimes. But I waited outside your door for over a hour, as did several other customers.
Bernard, I really doubt you will have to worry about me, LOL. You might be the man to beat this year. I'll keep my eyes out for a car for Lee and Ill shoot you a email soon to see how things are going for you. Later

Darren, I again apologize for your inconvenience, but I am juggling a lot of balls this week and unfortunately today I dropped several of them. Keep in mind that if your opinion and that of others was not important to me, I would have shrugged my shoulders and went "oh well" instead of offering some apologies and a little of an explanation.

I think Drew should be commended for giving the Outlaw Street cars extra money for "Best Wheel Stand" "Best Burnout" etc

I think Drew should be commended for giving the Outlaw Street cars extra money for "Best Wheel Stand" "Best Burnout" etc I agree on that, never said anything about that. But that has nothing to do with the original post. But its a done deal now, I just went elsewhere.
