Lets hear what everyone thinks they can run next year in every class. I'm only hoping that we can get to the point we were last year pretty early in the year then work from there.

I think our car should run 5.20 fairly easily in True Street Trim. Just kidding, I just wanted to follow the trend that has gone on every winter on the message board and say my car was going to run 2 tenths faster than the class record. If we get rebuilt in time we are hoping for mid to high 5.40's.

My prediction is that if Leon, Timmy, or Norm show up, I'm still going to get smoked. (and Joe to if he gets into the forties).
I'm saving my lunch money for some new heads. If I get them I hope to be able to run consistant low 5.50's or maybe 40's. That's won't be fast enough, Norm seemed pretty well rooted in the 30's at the end of last year, don't think it would be a long stretch to see a high 20 once the new surface is broken in and temps. cool off at the end of the year.
Also Nathan was flying and that camaro with ladder bars will post so great numbers if he gets the short times working....It went like 135 mph.

True Street will see some 20's for sure. I bet even a high teen by the end of the season. Seen it done last year and the car was 100% legal.

With our new twin turbo 706 motor, i think we should be solidly in the 5.50's in Outlaw 8.5

Hell I got that 800ci Sonny motor and 3 Hair Dryers. I think I'll see 5.10's on the 8.5's. ;D

At what weight do gas turbines have to run at? A friend of a cousin of my uncle on my mother's side knows a guy that knows a guy with a motor from a Huey.

So does anyone think we will see some 4.40's in Prostreet? I would think with a big tire we should be able to run what they do down south with a little tire or we all are very weak racers. They are knocking on the 4.40 door on a 10.5W and it will happen this year for sure. If I can just go 60's this year I would more than happy for now with a new combo I figure this is a learning year for us. Everyone have a great new years and be safe if your driving.

well, we"ve already had one person say they"d be able to run mid 50s {thay deleted their post the same day} and that guy ran 4.60 {yes with a zero} last year at 3000 lbs, I dont think you"ll see 40s at OV, I think 60s is as fast as you"ll see there, based on what people run at other tracks. generally I see {saw} 1/10 more et at BG or owensboro, I"ve also seen your et at other tracks vs OV and it looks like a 1/10 for you also bill. {this could go out the window with a new track surface}I hope nobody gets offended, but the facts are the facts {refering to et"s at OV vs some other tracks} but I can go to nashville and slow down 1 1/2 10ths. {being on top of a mountain doesnt help either} well I"ve rambled on long enough. have a great new year all, steve

My car has always been off in 60ft at the valley but I hop ethat will change this year.

There was nothing wrong with the track, We ran KP's car there on 33x10.5 tire and ran 1.10 60ft. And ran Kenny Comptons car there on a Friday night on 28x10.5 and ran 1.191 60ft. I have run the black car there in the past and always run well, you folks always blame the track, or some unseen gremlin. Any way, good luck in 2005. BG

billy
i was there on that friday night when you and compton was there. Me and my dad was talking to shannon while you all got compton's car ready to roll. And roll is what that thing did. Straight as and arrow and no movement at all. I forgot the time but maybe high 4's or low low 5's. Anyhow i was glad to see you guys get the car fixed and back at bowling green the next day. I was there also. Hope you run at the valley if you get a chance if not i will see you at a FFW race sometime.
Thanks Bernard Newton358

I really do not know what 2005 is going to be for us? We have always liked going to the Valley. I really and truely only asked all the stuff earlier because it would give KP a place to race in competition, and still be home the same night. I also am not saying I will not be there sometime with my car. I just don't know, sorry and Thanks BG.
