I just wanted to thank everyone that helped us out last night. I remember every little hand shake and pat on the back of people asking me if I was ok. Thanks to all the track staff for getting my car back in the trailer and thanks to those that helped my dad out back at the trailer. The emergency crew was right there to help me out of the car and see if I was ok. I was trying to get out of the car to let everyone know but the door was jammed. The 2 ladies from the ambulance were there about the time the car came to a rest and they helped me out. From what we can tell, the car started coming up on a wheelstand and I thought it was going to high. I got off the throttle and then I saw Leon was having trouble too. When I got back on the throttle a heim joint on the anti-roll bar broke on the right rear. I never could regain control of the car again. I fought it till it got upside down and then I just held on and prayed. I think God was looking out for me when he let Leon blow the tires off. It could have been a lot worse than it was. I am ok and we will be back with something agian. Again, thanks to all that helped out.

Joe glad you are ok. That was a wild ride and I can't even remember how it happened. I was relieved to see you unbuckling and giving me the thumbs up when I got down to you. If I knew your door was stuck I would have stopped to help, but the ambulance was already pulling up so I thought it was best that that I got out of the way. That's one race my partner and I would have rather lost. I have some of it on video. My son was filming. It looked like right before the finish line the back end got loose and turned you into the guardrail and then when you came across into the other lane you had it corrected and then he put the camera down and then he got it back up as you came to a rest. If you'd like to see it I would be happy to send it to you. Hope you will rebuild and race with us again next year. You all are good competiters and have great sportsmanship. Hope to see you next year, Leon

Joe, this is Kevin Rowe. I just wanted to tell you how I hated that you had the accident. I also want you to tell you how relieved I was when I saw you were OK. Like Leon said, we would rather have lost the race, than see anything like that happen. Vehicles & material things can be replaced, but lives can not!!! I have a alot of respect for you & your dad. You are very good people & sportsman. It is always a pleasure to shake your hand & talk to you & your dad at the races. I just hope you can get things fixed up & being racing again real soon.

I got the tape today Leon. Thanks. I don't know what the heck happend. Looked like it was going straight and just went to the right for some reason. I guess that's when the heim joint on the anti-roll bar broke. What was the traction problems all about with your car?It never does that.
