I was just curious if someone could give me a reasonable answer to why the fee for the outlaw races are $20.00. Most of us racers bring a crew member with us why should we have to pay extra for them to come and help us. I don't feel like our crew members should pay extra. If someone can answer this I would be thankful, and its a special event is not a good answer. Sorry about the rant but this is stupid and I think it should be addressed.

Arithmetic. Pro Mod pays 5K to win with no entry fee, the money has to come from somewhere and you can justify the extra spectator fee because the really fast cars are what draws a crowd. I have been to stick car races at other tracks that were considered special events and the spectator fee for my pit help was the higher fee. I didn't like it but it's business and I understand.

Hey Gearhead was there when you ended up on the roof seen you was ok how about the car? The damage was mostly cosmetic. If the windshield hadn't broke I could have raced it. Been thrashing on it trying to make a stick car race at US60 this Saturday and I think it will be ready. Have a friend that is great with sheet metal and we managed to straighten the roof out and I have gotten way better at patching fiberglass than I ever wanted to. I hate racing it with primer spots but I guess that's what I get.

My opinion is that there should be a difference in spectator and "crew".
I understand this is suppose to be a special event/show for the SPECTATORS so yes they should charge more than a reg sat night.
But Crew members are there every weekend and most could care less what show is being brought in. The drivers dont pay any more to race that night then why should their crew?
Spectators: $20-$25 Crew: $12
Any body disagree with this? Can some one other than a Whitworth explain this to the powers at be?

I don't agree with the 20 bucks and will not be going Saturday. I'm not paying a classes payout with my crewmembers entry

My opinion is that there should be a difference in spectator and "crew". Spectators: $20-$25 Crew: $15 Any body disagree with this? I agree with you BW but it would probably be difficult to control. If you limit it to 1 crew person per race car then the racers that show up with a small group every weekend are going to feel discriminated against, and if you don't limit it all the racers (including trophy) are going to show up with 6 "crew members". So your choices are pay the fee or don't show up on outlaw weekend. Maybe if none of the bracket cars showed up on outlaw days the track would notice the loss of income and would try to make some changes but that isn't going to happen. And when you think about how much we spend on these race cars an extra 8 bucks isn't really that big of a deal.

No body would be loading down with extra people. I would limit it to 2 crew max. Not that hard to police. Nino wouldnt let anybody get thru with out paying you can believe that! The man has woke me up before on a sat morning to collect his money!

This is why we don't go much on outlaw night anymore. $80. for us to get in for not alot of show anymore as far as car count.

I think 1 to 2 crew members would be fine. It wouldn't be hard at all, if you buy a bracket tech card then 1 or 2 people in the truck with you gets in at reg. price. I think they should have to be in the truck with you to make it fair. I don't want anything for free, the crew would still be paying reg. price. It looks like 12.00 and a bracket entry is a whole lot better than no bracket entry and no spectator fee at all.

Someone has been at my R.V. before bright and early more than once, he knows I'll pay because I race, want spectators hiding inside, haha.

Believe you me its not like daddy wants to get their earlier to collect from the ones that come in (for their convenience before the gates open for Saturday. As for different spectator pricing that would be difficult. We have an added amount of tech cards we r dealing with also. When you go to other tracks bigger events they do have the raised spectator fee also so it shouldn't come as a shock that OVR fell in suite. I hope the pro mod program grows this season so people feel it is worth the money.

Promods don't have to pay to race and I believe there crew gets in free........so what's the big deal with the Outlaws crew members. They should at least get some kind of discount on there entry and limit it to two members as long as there in the tow vehicle.
