The KDRA club had a meeting Jan. the 11th, we had 24 members and non members present. We did have about 10 people go bowling after the meeting. At the meeting we voted in officers, the club officers are as follows, Linda Peters is the new President, Donnie Scalf Jr. stays as Vice President, Missy Michal stays as Treasurer, Robyn Meredith is the new Secretary, Tommy Mattingly the 3rd stays as Committee Chairperson. Thanks to the officers. We set up the Swap Meet, Texas Hold-em card game and Practice Tree Tournament for Feb. the 7th.
The set-up for the swap meet starts Friday the 6th at 6:00pm est. with additional setup time 7:00am the 7th, swap meet starts at 9:00am the 7th. Spots are 10ftx10ft, $30.00 each, no discount this year for multiple spots due to increase in rent. Outside spots are $20.00. We will have concession's for purchase, we will be raffling off a scooter and will have pull tabs available. If you are not setting up Sat. morning do not expect to be allowed in till 9:00am. If you would like a spot contact me to reserve.
The Texas Hold-em card game doors open for players at 5:30pm est. $25.00 for 2000 in chips, unlimited buybacks first hour, $10.00 for 1000 chips, {you must be out of chips} you can add on chips one time after the first hour $10.00 for 1500 chips. Blinds start at 25/50, increase every 15 minutes, this increase time could change if players like. The maximum blind will be set by the last 5 players. Payout is 45%, 25%, 15%, 10%, 5%. The club will receive 20% of total money taken in. We will also be working on something to do for non players, possibly a Bunco game.
The Practice Tree Tournament is being handled by Donnie Scalf Jr. and Tommy Mattingly the 4th, the rules are as follows.
We will have a top and bottom bulb race, both races will have the same entry and payout, $500 win, $200r-up, $50.semis. Payout will double in both classes if over 80 entries. $25 entry, double entries permitted, $10 buyback first round only. Payout base on 40 entries, if less than 40 entries the payout will be 80% to racers, 20% to the KDRA. The club member that goes the furthest will receive $100.00, membership available at the event, $25.00 to be a member. Open practice wil be from 6:00pm est. till 7:30pm, first round at 7:30. First hit practice, 2nd hit counts. rollout set to zero, adjust delay for rollout during bottom bulb race, all rounds random draw, first round bye, random draw, after that it will be best reaction time, unused bye will carry over
