for those of you that live in Bullitt County, wanted to pass along a heads-up that MAGO will be resurfacing Hwy 44 from Mt Washington to the KOA campground just east of Shepherdsville, July 20th thru the 27th,, all at night. (6PM to 6AM) or roughly there abouts in that time frame. the work could possibly carry-over past the 27th, due to whatever interruptions take place. there will be intervals of day work involved in this, but there shouldn't be any major traffic disruptions during the day hours. please plan your routings and times accordingly. thanks Chris E

yur welcome Jeff. talked to the scheduler today, after I posted this, and he's thinking that if we get in Sunday thru Thursday nights, no one will be working there on Friday night or Saturday night, but resuming the following Sunday night thru finish. (9 working nights). so with that said our work may not interfere with anyone travelling to or from the Valley across this particular section of 44, except for the Wednesday test session.

the job was completed last night, so shouldn't be any more traffic tie-ups on our part. thanks for your patience if any of you were affected.

Except for the hack job MAC is doing at the theatre. I realize it is temporary but that is the roughest mess I have ever seen dirt would be better

I went thru there today. the guys were telling me how rough that section is, but d**n.. this is inexcusable for a stretch of construction that is supposed to be "traffic maintained". admittedly, ours has some places that I can't say we're exactly proud of either, but the more traffic that runs on it the smoother it should get.
