IT WAS HOT. I thought the track was good especially the starting line considering track temps of nearly 140*. Down track you had to stay in the groove. Ron Stinson had the car to beat all day. I got him with a holeshot in the finals. I have issues with not enough tire speed and tire shake. Ned and I have tried every adjustment on the car. It is just about to the point of changing the tire or the converter. Thanks to Super Ned, Geoff Gravitt and my wife for everything.

Congrats on the win, Mark! It pays to be good on the tree. I had to do a double take when I saw the ETs in the final!

thanks Mark it was good thing we had a bye run to waste and qualifying shots to go with it. we had the same problem with the 540c.i. motor too.
I think the converter is the problem cause my new converter set the motor free. it took a while to get a hold of the track after I changed it too.

I agree it is time to make a converter change.
