This was our first Door Slammers we have raced at and we had a blast. Got down to 3 cars on Saturday. A special thanks to the guy that works the lanes(Jeff). He was very nice and made sure we understood how the card system worked. Top Sportman cars were awsome to watch. Darrell & Sandy Wathen 41 Willys

The weather was excellent! Track was hookin,' too! I ran the quickest and fastest I've been on Saturday, and the car ran it's number (almost) all night. Made it to five cars Saturday. Woulda made it to three, but I lost eligibility for the bye run on a technicality Darrell & Sandy - glad to see you all make it to the Valley. That's one cool ride. Congrats on getting down to the semis(?) Saturday. I know you got the bye with five cars left, and I heard the dragster beat you and was R/U to Dustin (the silver Camaro). BTW, I did get a picture of that Willys if you're interested...just drop me a line: damon@thephotodemon.comLater, y'all, Damon PS Pictures should be up this week. I got them almost ready to go up. Took over 600 pictures, so it'll take me a while to update the site. I'll post when it's ready.

Great job this weekend track owners , workers, from the burnout box ,to the lane coordinator, to the ticket girl . I and my wife Mary had a wonderful time. What a way to close out the season ,with a race of this nature. The top sportsman cars put on a hell of a show. I honestly can not see how it could have been any better.Well maybe if I won lol.
