Rod end straps to keep ladder bar secure if you have them, they now require a tether/strap to keep them in the air/off the ground in the event of rod end failure, so they don't drop down gouge the track and cause you to flip. This is mandatory in all classes
You must have a Valid drivers license (no permit) or an NHRA license to run at any NHRA track This effects ET. Stock, SS and Super Street. So if you had a DUI and No license you must obtain an NHRA license
All SFI certified products are marked with a tag or a label. There are 2 types of tags and labels. Those for products where the certification expires and the product must either be re certified or replaced. These labels and tags have the date of the certification punched out. Additionally there were some SFI certified products (i.e. SFI 4.1 transmission shields, SFI 29.1 Flex plates and SFI 30.1 Flexplate shields) that were originally sold with labels that did not contain certification dates. All of these products are now well past their re-certification date and need to be recertified or replaced. There are a few other changes go to NHRA.com for some other minor rule changes

So if you had a DUI and No license you must obtain an NHRA license that brings up a question for me....we havent raced at the valley in years, and more than likely will this year. is there anything done about racers drinking while racing? it may not be a problem now, but i know of alot of them in the past that did, and nothing was said about it, and ive never personally ever seen it cause an accident, but we all know that it could, so it does concern me a little. by in the past i mean, in the 80's & early 90's, so im sure things could be different now, and y'all may have put a stop to it.

Joe, do you know where to find out more about these straps? This says all ladder bar cars must have them; does it apply to 4-link setups, too? I would think it would, but it's not worded as such..... Is this something that is SFI certified or is it something one can fabricate (like a driveshaft loop for example)?
On the DUI thing, I think if you get a DUI, you don't need to be on the track, NHRA license or no. I think you should have to forfeit your racing privileges until you get your license back and your head straight. But that's just my perspective on it.
Thanks, Damon

Zero tolerance at Ohio Valley I threw a couple people out last year. Its not a big problem anymore the people I threw out were really not known 2 trophy guys and you really want to know how dumb this guy was, he was holding a beer and drinking when I started teching. I am like yea right your car passes but not the driver
