Now you're getting into my "grey matter". Good memories and glad we didn't get killed or worse...I love the old camaro pictures. It had 1980 written all over it with those big meats hanging out.
I saw Terry's Lemans in the background on the one picture. You should have spent more money on bolts for your seats before you raced me!!! I need some of those old Vette pics (I had you at the 60ft mark as I remember, but was all over by the time you hit 3rd gear and dumped Joe in the baskseat)!!! The good old days "cruisin' the Point" and street racing, I wonder what kids do now for fun???
You're right, the old wagon is (was) somewhat of a boat (or anchor). But things are changing!!! I 'll let you know when we make some pulls.

r Rob you had me a half a car length on the hit for a least 100 ft till I got the tires and motor hooked to the ground.. when we ran from a roll I pushed the clutch in and waited for you hit it. when I let it out the motor was at 8500 ;D so it was spinning and moving around till I started changing gears I will post them up tonight so you can copy them off this topic with your computer

Making a pass down Memory lane...You are quite the historian Ned. Funny stuff! That first tunnel ram with a single, was that my old one off of the vette? I don't remember what happened to it? I had both tops at one time.
I'm going to reuse the 650 carbs on the new intake with some of Carl's tricks done to them. These old guys sure do know their stuff!
As I remember, the Camaro had a "kinda orange" colored interior (inserts) on the seats??? The dash pad looks strange today...but back then it was high on the cool charts!
Kenny I'm sure you never had a car with a velvet dash pad...?!?!.
You should have seen me in my "Chevy Van" back in the day...

fuzzy I installed an orange crush velvet interior in it about a year after I bought in 1976. I made the seats high backs too with pipe and padding then later on I put red crush velvet on everything in 1980 noshowreed darin updated eveything on the front clip Rob not sure where it came from but I think I had it before I met you guys because it had 2 fours most of time after I met you guys cause terry bought the single carb i had for his 66 white lemans

I tubbed the car in 1980 so this was 1981 at harison co. drag strip in indiana stock muncie street 4 speed ...you remember it only lasted 2 passes. it landed next to the pole after I let off cause it was still going up at 60 ft cause it had too much front end travel and rpm on the hit

WOW! And to think I used to own that car. Can you believe that I stripped that car down to bare glass and painted it white???
I wonder what was standing in front of the one picture that was cut off?
The ignorance of youth...Thanks Ned and Sr. for hanging on to these old pictures.
Rob.
