darren, i think kevin got tired of riding mules every weekend. and he thought this would be a good class for him. he used to run 9in slicks so it probally wont hurt him to bad. the secret to my wait loss is i am 75lbs lighter than roy and i put disc brakes on the front and a rack. that last race my car weighed 4600lbs so this should help some. hope we can do some testing soon. i look forward to racing all of valley races and osca and maybe 1 pro. i think i got enough spare parts but might not have enough money! you know door greeters dont make much. What PRO race you gonna do and what class. With a little testing, your car will be tough in 8.5.

I ran True Street at Bowling Green three years ago and I thought the class sucked. They wouldn't give you any cool down time at all. By the time you got your timeslip, pulled back into the staging lanes, got unbuckled and your fire jacket off, they were telling you to buckle up again. It was over 100 degrees inside my car and I was starting to feel a little sick after I got done with my third run. They say they'll give 15-30 minutes between rounds, but it was less than 5. So I didn't think it was worth abusing myself and the car and haven't run the class since.
