I'm just wondering what kind of K-member everyone likes. I'm about ready to purchase a front suspension for my 88 stang I would like some input. I've heard people say they like UPR, D&D, PA, etc?? Any help I would appreciated.

upr, skinny kid,pa, wolf, team z these all are well know chassis componet places. Just do like me and most call these people and get your own personal opinion on how you are treated on the phone. That always works for me, I chose to use UPR front and rear. Bard tobenor, and jeremy montorola treated me well and have helped me a ton, but i hear good things about all the rest. I know nothing about d and d. They say jason at PA is great as well. Just trying to help and not steer you in anyway but you are a good friend so just call and get your take. Later Bernard Newton358

Definatley give Jason at PA a call. I just put a complete setup from him under my new car. It fit great and header clearance is awesome.
Good Luck, Bill

Call Jason at PA Racing (812-524-7177 or 877-550-8400) or go to www.paracing.netJeremy at UPR is a good guy as well. Stay far away from D&D. Later, BK Meyers

]I agree Jason at PA makes some nice stuff. I have his entire front kit on. I have some good pics on my photo page click on my screen name and it will have a link there. Im with BK I never heard any good remarks on D&D. Like 358 said UPR Front kit is pretty nice pieces too. The good thing is Jason is just up the road a piece in Seymour,IN. Went up to his shop earlier this year,he's "got it goin on!"

I looked at your k member pics Pony408 and I was wondering about the pics that said shortened a-arms. I like the look, did you special order them that way and how much are they shortened?
Thanks, Mark

I have the 1" shorter arms on my car. It pulls the wheels up under the wheel lip on the fender. Without the shorter arms and with aftermarket brakes the wheels can stick way out. It is really an asthetic thing. It also helps with alignment after lowering the car.

did you special order them that way and how much are they shortened? Thanks, Mark They are shortened 1". But Caster/Camber plates are a pretty much a must since it changes geomentry. No Problems with a drag oriented set-up with those(c/c plates) installed. Jason recommened them so when I can swing the $ for aftermarket brakes it still keeps the rim tucked under the fender. Im not sure but the way he talked some aftermarket brake set-ups extend the wheel out. He has some other trick stuff as far as a-arm set-up if you dont care to spend the $. Give him a buzz,Im sure he would be happy to explain it all.
