Charlie, I do commend you and Tony for extending olive branch to Kevin and offering to work with him. The thing I am speaking of is your stuborness to bend if Kevin snubs you. If we continue to have years like last year this stuff won't last. Most of the races were conflicting and that made for poor turnouts. I am just saying that even if Kevin does not want to play ball and work with you guys it is still up to you and the Huff's to make the decision to move a date. I just want what is best for all involved and that is non conflicting dates. I am sorry if my other post seemed as if I did not appreciate your and Tony's efforts to resolve this conflict. Also this is not about sides, it is about putting on the best possible show for the fans.
It is all well and good to say the other bodies do not make sure they do not conflict but we have near 100% cross over. There are no other bodies that have that much cross over and it is very important that we work together.
Thanks again, Bill

OSCA will never respond to my questions on e-mail either. Everytime I put a Clay City race on their website it gets deleted. I could see deleting it if it were on the same day as one of their races but it isn't. I am just trying to inform people about a race, not trying to steal business from OSCA. They wouldn't even talk about letting me run 2 carbs in True Street. It would be different if I dominated the class but I do good to make it to the semis once a year.

OVOS has always run on the same weekend for the last 2 or 3 years. They could just say "we have been doing it longer, so let Kevin deal with it" but they dont. They have tried to come to some sort of an agreement on making sure the race dates dont conflict, but its ard to when Kevin doesnt return phone calls or reply to emails.
Maybe its a vandetta against Tony and Charlie, I dont know. But BOTH of them have my utmost respect in trying to make the OVOS the best series out there.
