Maybe Kevin from the osca will not make his dates the same as ohio valleys From what I hear Kevin will be racing on the 2nd Saturday of the month but he may need to work with Charlie or Tony on 1 or 2 races.

Could have bumped Entry Street up just a little. $300 or $400.

I have tried calling Kevin to workout scheduling conflicts, but have yet to have him to return any calls. I know that you have and as soon as the OSCA schedule is released we all need to try and get any conflicting dates worked out because it helps both racers, both organizations and fans to see the maxium amount of cars running for the win. I just hope everyone can get over what ever problems they have in the past and work together like adults.

Explain something Bill, you want us to wait till Kevin releases his schedule and then try to do something about working it out... We announced a long time ago that we were planning on racing on the 3rd Saturday again just like before, dont you think it would've been smart for Kevin to call Tony back if there was a conflicting date that needed to be worked on?

I know that you guys race on the 3RD Saturday but you guys own the track and IF there is a race or 2 that conflicts I would think it would be to everyones benefit to change the dates if there are any conflicting dates but who am I other than a racer that would like to support both places and not have it come down to money or points on where I race. Bottom lines it's a win win for everyone if they are not on the same dates.

I think you are missing the point Bill, we have tried this year just like we tried last year...If you are suggesting that we wait to see what the OSCA does and then work around it then i'm quite sure you know that you are asking for the impossible...If Kevin isnt willing to return a call and work it out then we will run on the same day if thats how it plays out and the racers can make their own decisions on where to race at...

Charlie, I think that is the attitude that makes the racers and fans mad. I am not saying anybody should bow to anybody elses will, but there has to be some way to work this out. If Kevin has made the decision to race on top of OVOS dates then what would it hurt to bend a little and move the race one week one way or the other. I understand that all the fans at the Valley know that the 3rd Saturday of the month is the OVOS race. We will know plenty in advance if we need to change a date and can alert the fans of the change so nobody shows up on the 3rd week expecting to see OVOS. All I am saying is somebody has to swallow some pride and do what is best for both associations, the fans, and the racers. As we saw last year the difference between conflicting and non conflicting dates is huge. I know everyone wants to put on the best show possible and I don't think that is possible if we have conflicting dates.
Thanks, Bill

I understand what everyone is saying. I would like to have the schedule to where no races conflict, but I don't see PRO, NSCA, NMRA and FFW making sure that races don't conflict. I have chosen to run OVOS and if there is a OSCA race when OVOS isn't running then I will probally go. I'm committed to other races also so every race is up in the air this season. We tried talking about this last season but we still ran anyway.

Well Bill W., I believe that by picking up the phone and calling someone that you have conflict with is a serious way of putting pride aside and looking towards making things better...Let me ask you this and you honestly answer it...If you are forced to choose something because of one individual, why would you choose his side if he is the one that put you in that position? We offered last year and have offered this year again, that should say alot about what we are hoping to achieve!
