Whats your point Chad? If this is about Billy Glidden then i will tell you that he is far better at pleading his case than you are...I talked to Billy on Saturday for an hour and a half and we are working on the small block rules. Calling people yahoos wont do anything but cause the stubbornness to come out and then nothing can be accomplished...This is 1/8th mile racing so we look mainly at the 1/8th mile numbers...With that said then I will say one thing that was figured out with Billy...Everyone thinks that he is sandbagging when he runs his car, have we(me included) asked ourselves how he can lay back on his 1/8th mile numbers when he is racing a 1/4 mile race? He offered to mail his fastest timeslips(that are documented from each event) from this past year and he says that his car averaged 152MPH in the 1/8th, which is less than the turbos...We are wanting input because we feel that there may need to be some consideration given to this before we make a decision...We agree that to let Billy run at a weight that gives him a chance at winning isnt unfair to anyone, however, Billy knows that if he has been given too much and is dominating the class that we wont hesitate to make a change...He asked for 2600lbs on a 33W and we were at 2750, if we meet somewhere in the middle it should be 2675(maybe as low as 2650)...GIVE SOME HONEST FEELINGS AND USE YOUR NAME OR IT WONT STAY ON THE BOARD! I wouldn't have a problem with him being at 2650 or 2675 because the weight at OSCA will be 2700 to see where he would be at then they will adjust as needed. I personally feel he will be ultra competitive at that weight. I think the biggest problem you will have this year is that with more cars showing up that can and will lay down big numbers on a big tire it will get out of hand real quick. Last year you only had Lee runnign what ever it took to win kind of toying with the other racers but this year will be way different because of the competition level coming and I really don't think I will be one of those cars at first but hopefully by the end of the year we will get back to where we were this past year.

Bill Lutz you always say Lee's only running what he has to at the OV how much more ya think he's got? Heck he could have stood to show a little more at Huntsville if he's got so much more in the bank so to speak, and no this is not bash Lee or anyone else day by no means. It's like you think he can go 30's or something. Just wondering!

Hello Charlie, and everyone else. Yes we did speak, and yes it was very cordual. He has, and had alot on his plate, with the banquet and all, but here is exactly what was said, he told me that 2450 was not really gong to be something he would make folks agree to, I said I agree, but 2700 is too much changing for my car from what I run in FFW. I would have to change too many things for it to be correct. So I said I would agree to 2600lbs with the 33x10.5 tire, and if it were too much then just tell us to leave, I have been run off by police escort before, so this would not be a problem. I stated I would bring KP's car, and this would be the first available open date, and if he was able to be there he would drive, if not I will, I am not sure where he got the 2675, but like I say he has a full plate. Thanks BG

WWWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW, you guys have raised the bar.......hhhmmmmmmm, looks like alot of fun. if things dont go as planned i will have to make the haul over there a time or two next year. personally i like all of you, dont think i have any problems w/ anyone, atleast not that i know of. except for those litl jr dragster starter boxes that are left in the lanes when you have a tank to make a tight turn to get into the burnout box, but hey , even thats minor. lets keep inmind folks that its all in fun, as long as i can weigh 2600 and run 34.5 x 17s i will be happy.hahaha. my stuff is still to be determined but i think if everyone makes an honest attempt at keeping things fair it will continue to be a great place to race. hope all is going well w/ everyone, i got to talk to chris ridge at the world st finals in florida, great conversation, great guy along w/ brad. i think bill lutz, along w/ some others were there, sorry ididnt get a chance to say hey to everyone. (as if anyone really cares) id like to see a pic of steves new ride....shoeboxes rule guys......cant believe pats car is on ebay but you know hes not letting any grass grow under his jackstands,,,hahaha. i will try to keep up w/ you guys on this board if you dont mind, charlie and tony keep up the good work. my car and toter are up for sale if anyone is interested. take care and happy holidays to all.......oh.... this is just my .015, i ran a litl short on the full 2 cents, later scott

It's like you think he can go 30's or something. Just wondering! First off you need to remember that myself and Lee live with in 1 mile from each other and talk all the time so it's not like we don't test at the same tracks all the time. To start with Lee's car has been a low 4.50 or maybe even a high 4.40 when Randy owned the car 4 or 5 years ago but it did have a stick in it but according to most people a stick is not a big advantage and it went 6.96@203 in the 1/4 at National Trails back in the day. Lee has been a low 4.60 just like Shannon but yet he has never went that at the valley so can you say running what he has too? I'm not sure about Huntsville because Lee's car wasn't even running any MPH and I know he changed a lot of things and nothing seemed to help it. Just think about this for a minute if you can run low 60's but the closest car is a high 80 or high 90's and your a smart racer that doesn't want wieght put on you how fast are you going to run and with boost you can control it especially when you have as many runs as lee does on his car.

I would agree with 2650 but that's it AND you can't run a blower belt. I'm pissed that you didn't come talk to me at Orlando but you probably didn't want to wait in the line to see me lol. If you would have checked with security (my wife) she would have brought you to the front of the line to talk with me. We can always knock 2 or 3 people out of the way for Scott Lowery. Next time we are at a race stop by and talk and I really hope that you keep your car and continue to race it because it's classic.
