If you get a chance to read the "real" street car post you will read a guy that says he run consistent 5's on a drag radial

It seems too me not matter what you make the rules there will always be someone with more money rising to the top. The bar will always be raised. There is really no way too keep a "entry level" class entry level. There are several cars running in the low 6's and some in the 5's on drag radials. The only way to keep these cars from being so fast is to put a index on them, and then what fun is that. I built my car to run entry street 2 winters ago and it runs consistant 7.0's but that's not fast enough. For that reason I race bracket.

We ran 5.50's on the 315 M/t, thats why I said to limit them to the 235x50x15 BF. AND THAT THE ONLY TIRE ALOWED. NO M/T. that would help for now. but there again it's just a Band-add.

We 1.29 60 ft. it looked like it might have been clicking the 60 ft. beems with the back tires. but don't hold me to that. even when we stood the car up we went 1.40 60's. with the bumper. LoL..

Never ran slicks with this new Motor. so I don't know what it would run.. Plus we can't run them in Ez-Street so we figured if we cant get it done on a Radial or a D.o.t we don't need to try.. any1 can run a number on a Slick but try and run it on those two types of tries... its allot tuffer.. just ask some of the osca guys that came to Benton Il. for that $5000 to win Ez-Street race we had. Most of them could not get down the track becouse thay were use to the slick... But i can tell you befor we put the radials on the car we ran 5.65 @130 on the Hoosier and a small tune up in the first fogger and then we bolted those M/T Radials on the car with the same tune up and a little help with the msd box "progamable digital7" we went 5.57,5.58,5.59 @ 125 on all three passes.
