Big Block combo was in the top 3 in points and made a great showing everytime he was out there. I hope rules are left alone. Maybe don't allow a mini tub or backhalf rule.

I think the weights are pretty close based on this years results, but I'd like to see a single stage plate system rule and maybe something in the suspension dept. like Ken mentioned. Things need to be reigned in a bit before the cost to compete in Outlaw 8.5 is beyond the reach of the entry level heads-up racer.
So what happened to keeping the class in the 6s? That was stated pretty emphatically last winter and to a few racer this year but no changes were made to make it happen

i think the 8.5 class is great ,to get a car down the track with 8.5s are a pregnant dog , we was putting way to much power to the ground to hook it ,we will do some more testing to see if we can get it hooked up have fun yall SEE YA

It's called outlaw 8.5 so let's make it 3300 pounds across the board, 100 off the big block's and 100 to the small block's. There was not one race this year won by a big block. ;D

Plus, by the way Michael Edds ran the last 2 races, it looks like they are pretty fair right now.

nice to see TBIRD is back. I havent heard what his car ran this year yet. The weight break is very debatabel and so are the mini tubs and back half cars but I think the real limit will comewith the single plate idea. Mini tubs and back halfs still have to hook on an 8.5 but the single plate would keep it toned down and hopefully affordable to compete not just run
